Two Fulton County schools were on lockdown Tuesday afternoon while police investigated a shooting outside of Banneker High School.

No one was injured in the shooting, but Banneker High and Feldwood Elementary were placed on lockdown around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale told Channel 2 Action News.

Several people were detained in connection with the reported incident, the television station reported. Just before 2 p.m., authorities swarmed an apartment complex off Buffington Road looking for others who may be involved in the shooting, according to Channel 2.

It’s not clear if students were involved.

No other details were immediately available.
